Aqara Hub M3 (Zigbee) (Matter over Thread)

The M3 is a versatile hub supporting Aqara Zigbee and Thread devices. (Refer to Aqara's website for the list of Aqara Zigbee devices exposed to Matter). It integrates third-party devices into the Aqara Home app (currently limited to select device types, will be expanded over time). As a Matter bridge, it exposes existing Aqara Zigbee devices to Matter-compatible apps such as Apple Home. Supports up to 127 Thread/Zigbee devices (Repeaters are needed).

Featuring advanced connectivity including Thread, Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and infrared, the M3 significantly expands the Aqara ecosystem with its capability to connect and manage the growing number of Matter devices, not only from Aqara but also from a variety of third-party brands

Aqara smart home hubs let you automate tasks, such as setting schedules, turning off lights, locking doors, and changing your thermostat settings. You can also get the IFTTT automation platform with some Aqara hubs.

The Aqara Hub M3 redefines Aqara Home as a Smart Home Ecosystem, offering support for Aqara Zigbee devices and a vast array of third-party Matter devices over Thread and Wi-Fi. With a focus on local automation and data processing, it ensures reliability even when offline.
